Cedarwood anchors the flame with the deep, resinous quality of ancient wood. Cinnamon carries heat upward - spiced, golden, the note that wakes the room before anything else does. Vetiver grounds both - its smoky, earthy thread keeping the fire from becoming restlessness. Light it before the work that matters. Let the room change first.
Trim the wick
To 5mm before each lighting. A trimmed wick burns cleaner and longer - this small act of preparation is the first gesture of the ritual.
Allow the first burn
On first use, allow the wax to melt fully to the edges - around 2 hours. This prevents tunnelling and ensures the full fragrance has room to move.
Hold the limit
Never burn for more than 4 consecutive hours. Fire, like all things worth tending, asks for measured attention - not constant consumption.
Extinguish with intention
Use a snuffer or the lid - not breath. The flame deserves a considered ending, not an abrupt one.
Rest between burns
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. What holds fire well also knows when to rest.
