Kapha Body Oil Daybreak
The first stretch after long stillness.
Kapha skin holds onto the night - slow to warm, slow to wake, carrying a heaviness that lingers even after the body is upright. This oil was made to meet that stillness with gentle heat: warming, grounding, and deeply absorbing, it stirs what has grown still and returns the skin to a sense of aliveness.
Its scent of spiced earth and subtle fire is itself a kind of awakening.
The Hero Herb
Tila (Sesame)
One of Ayurveda's most ancient and revered carriers, Tila is considered the great warmer - drawn to Kapha's heaviness with an instinct for meeting it. Rich without heaviness, penetrating without force, it settles into the skin slowly and steadily, the way warmth finds its way into cold stone. The oil that knows how to stir without startling.
Your Sunrise Ritual
The body wakes the way the sun rises - from the ground up.
After bathing
While the skin is still slightly damp, warm a few drops between the palms. Let the hands carry the heat before the oil does.
Press into the body
Work with long upward strokes from the feet toward the heart. Let the direction of the stroke carry the intention of the morning - always rising.
Give attention to the joints
Linger a little at the elbows, knees, and shins - the places Kapha holds most tightly to the night.
Or draw a warm bath
For a slower morning, add 5 to 8 drops to a warm bath and allow the oil to work before the day begins. Let the body be held before it is asked to move.
Allow the morning
Use daily. Allow 30 days for the body to find its own warm, awake morning rhythm.
